Our measures

Despite the measures taken by the government, you can stay carefree at Hotel Eindhoven. Your safety and health, and that of our staff, are central to this. On this page we would like to inform you further about our working methods. We ask you to take into account our adapted measures to guarantee your health and that of our employees. We hope to welcome you soon for a safe and secure stay at Hotel Eindhoven!

The starting point for our measures are the guidelines and recommendations of the government/RIVM

General

  • From 25 September onwards we will ask you to show on arrival your proof of identity and covid19 entry pass: a negative test result, proof of vaccination or proof that you have recovered from corona. 
  • Our staff have received instructions on how to act under Corona.
  • There are additional protocols for cleaning and hygiene.
  • The hotel, restaurants, hotel bar, meeting rooms and sports centre are open for hotel guests and external guests.

Arrival at the hotel

  • We like to welcome you personally and we are open for questions.
  • In the lobby you have the opportunity to clean your hands after your trip.
  • Our reception is open 24 hours.

Overnight stay

  • If you are a hotel guest and wish to have breakfast, lunch, dinner or visit our hotel bar, from September 25 onwards we will ask you to show your proof of identity and covid19 entry pass upon arrival: a negative test result, proof of vaccination or proof that you have recovered from corona. 
  • During your stay, we ask you to show your room card at all the different outlets (restaurants, bar, sports centre) so that we know that you are staying with us and have already shown your covid19 entry pass at check-in and hence can continue your visit.
  • If you are a hotel guest but do not wish to use breakfast, lunch, dinner or do not wish to visit our hotel bar, you do not need to show a covid19 entry pass.

Food & drink

  • Our restaurant and hotel bar are open during the usual opening hours, for hotel guests and outside guests. Upon arrival we will scan the QR code of outside guests. 
  • Hotel guests will be asked to show their room card, so that we know that you are staying in the house and have already shown your covid19 entry pass at check-in, and hence can continue your visit.
  • The breakfast buffet is from Monday to Friday from 6:30 - 10:30. You can choose from various time slots of one hour with an arrival time between 6:30 - 10:00. On Saturday and Sunday, the breakfast buffet is from 7:30 - 11:30. Here too you can choose from various time slots of one hour arriving between 7:30 - 11:00.
  • A delicious lunch is available at Brasserie Martinus.
  • From 17:00 - 22:00 you are welcome for dinner at both Brasserie Martinus and OZZO Food & Drinks.
  • On Saturday you are also welcome from 17:00 at restaurant Het Buffet for a family dinner buffet.
  • You can also use the room service card. For room service there is a surcharge of € 12.50.
  • During breakfast, lunch and dinner you can also use our take away options at Moes de Pom. Here you will find, among other things, sandwiches, soups, salads, meals and pizzas.

Fitness & pool

  • The swimming pool and fitness area of Toucan Sportsclub are open. The opening hours of the swimming pool and fitness can be found here.
  • We will ask hotel guests to show their room card, so that we know that you are staying in the house and have already shown your covid19 entry pass at check-in, and hence can continue your visit.

Meeting rooms

  • Our meeting rooms are available for the maximum capacity of the room/space, the 1.5 metre distance is no longer taken into account. 
  • As of Saturday, September 25, we will ask all our meeting guests to scan their QR code upon arrival.

Safe and comfortable

At Van der Valk, the health, safety and well-being of our guests and employees has the highest priority. In order to guarantee your health and safety, we would like to ask you to observe the following policy during your visit to our hotel:

  • Follow indicated hygiene measures
  • Do not shake hands with fellow guests or hotel staff
  • Wash your hands regularly and in accordance with RIVM guidelines
  • Use paper towels to dry your hands
  • Cough and sneeze in your elbow and turn away from fellow guests and hotel staff
  • Payment only possible with pin or credit card.

Do you have symptons of a cold, such as a runny nose, sneezing, sore throat, mild cough or increase over 38 degrees Celsius? Then we ask you to stay at home and not to come to the hotel.

Can Van der Valk be open as a hotel?
Yes, according to government guidelines it is allowed to be open as a hotel.

Is visiting a Van der Valk hotel safe?
Van der Valk takes your health and that of the employees very seriously. We have strict measures within the hotel so that this can be guaranteed. All Van der Valk hotels are furnished according to the guidelines of the RIVM. As a hotel, we do everything we can to keep risks to a minimum.

As a hotel guest, can I use the restaurant facilities?
Yes, our restaurants are open.

Is it possible to order room service?
Yes, you can order room service.

Is it possible to use facilities such as renting an (electric) bicycle at the hotel?
Yes, this is possible. The hotel is located in the green heart of the Genneper Parks, which are definitely worth a bicycle tour. Our bike rental is ideal for a day of exploring the area.

Can I cancel or change my booking?
You can cancel or change your booking free of charge until 12:00 on the day of arrival. If the cancellation is made after 12:00, 100% of the reservation value of the first night will be charged. In the case of a non-refundable booking, you cannot cancel / change your booking for free. Full costs will be charged if you cancel or change this booking.

Can I change my booking on the day of arrival if I have a cold or cough?
Do you have a cold, such as a cold, runny nose, sneezing, sore throat, mild cough or increase to 38 degrees Celsius? Then we ask you to stay at home and not to come to the hotel. Of course we will think along with you in the form of a suitable solution.
